June 20, 2008 - The Guyana Office for Investment is very pleased to introduce its first issue of its news magazine," What's Up in Business for Jan - June, 2008"

June 20, 2007 - The Guyana Office for Investment in collaboration with Guyana’s Consul General to Toronto, Canada, Mr. Danny Doobay, is hosting a Guyana Trade & Investment Exposition at the L’Amoreaux Community Centre, Toronto, Canada during the Guyana Festival from Friday, June 22nd to Sunday, June 24th, 2007.

This Exposition is to showcase and sell all that is grown and manufactured in Guyana and to promote investment opportunities available in Guyana.

The Exposition will run from 11:00 hrs – 21:oo hrs on Saturday, June 23rd and from 11:00 hrs – 18:00 hrs on Sunday, June 24th, 2007.

Fourteen (14) manufacturing companies from Guyana would be in attendance in the following sectors: high quality wood products, fresh and processed foods, wooden crafts, basketry, gold and silver jewellery and confectionery. In addition, four (4) tour operators/hotels/music would be in attendance.
